Mourning the loss of Pete Fee, Ioway Elder and a dear friend

We are among the many mourning the loss of our friend and collaborator Pete Fee, a beloved Elder of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.

We had the great fortune to interview Pete on-camera for three historical documentary film projects including "Lost Nation: The Ioway 1", "Lost Nation: The Ioway 2 & 3", and "Good Earth: Awakening the Silent City". We will miss his gentle good humor and steady wisdom and counsel.

We offer our most sincere condolences to his family, and all who knew and loved him.

We don't ever think we will stop missing him.
